Barwani (Madhya Pradesh): District collector Shivraj Singh Verma, through video conferencing directed all the revenue officials on Monday to ensure that Covid guidelines are followed during unlock from June 1. For this, field staff of teachers, patwaris and other departments should be deployed in the area of their charge.
The videos of those who roam around in violation of unlock guidelines will be made and sent to their WhatsApp account. Action will be taken against guilty shopkeepers and their shops may be sealed if they flout norms for second time.
During the video conferencing, Verma asked revenue officers that rule of opening 50 per cent shops should be compulsorily followed in urban areas. For this, information about opening of shops on an even-odd basis should be made available to shopkeepers. A videography of urban areas will be sent to WhatsApp account of revenue officer of concerned area.
During the video conferencing, the collector reminded all the revenue officials about circles to be made in front of shops and use of sanitisers. All the shops will be required to display - No mask, no goods - to prevent spread of Covid infection.
