INDORE: Daughter of an ASI and a resident of Dwarikapuri committed suicide, on Saturday night by hanging herself from the ceiling. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
According to Amar Singh Golkar, ASI, Dwarikapuri police, the girl was identified as Anju Mishra (19) a resident of Prajapat Nagar. Anju reportedly committed suicide on Saturday night. At that time her family was busy and when she did not come out of her room for a long time, they checked on her and found her hanging. Anju was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. No note of any kind was found on her person and therefore the reason of suicide is not known. Anju’s father is an ASI posted at Khajrana police station. Anju was pursuing degree in commerce stream and she was engaged to a boy from Dewas and the marriage was scheduled to take place in November. The police are recording statements of her family members and are investigating the matter.
