Indore : Choithram College of Nursing organised an exhibition of art and craft by patients of mental hospital, Indore on Monday, the last day of posting of nursing students of the college.

Dr Ramgulam Razdan, Medical Superintendent, Mental Hospital, Dr Usha Ukande, Principal, Choithram College of Nursing, Dr Ujjwal Sardesai, Dr Aman Kishore, Professor Blessy Antony and Uma Maheswari, Lecturer, Choithram College of Nursing were present for the occasion.

The nursing students helped the inmates of the mental hospital in activities of their interest according to their capacities like clay modelling, best out of waste, art and craft, pot decoration, painting, drawing and embroidery etc. The guiding source behind the programme was Dr Usha Ukande, Principal, Choithram College of Nursing.

In his address, Dr Ramgulam Razdan, Medical Superintendent, Mental Hospital said that the art and crafts were appreciated by all and encouraged the students to keep organising such programmes in the future as well. The inmates of the institution also presented dance and other cultural programmes. The programme was conducted by Namrata Singh and vote of thanks was proposed by Priyanka Rana.
