Indore : Air India’s grounded aircraft at city airport could not repaired even after three days. Engineers called from New Delhi were busy in repairing it till Wednesday night and it is expected to fly by Thursday.

Airport Director R N Shinde said that there’s problem in the hydraulic system of aircraft. Though, the parts were called yesterday,  yet they could not be helpful. Hence, a few more spare parts and engineers were called on its evening Delhi-Indore-Mumbai flight. They were busy in repairing the hydraulic system of the aircraft till late night. He expressed hope that it would be repaired in night itself and by Thursday morning it will be able to fly.

Air Cargo facility

Shinde said that a manager from Air India’s Mumbai regional office visited the city airport on Monday.

The purpose of the visit was to have the inspection of the proposed site of domestic common air cargo facility. The manager checked physibility of cargo facility and he held a meeting with the representatives of all the airlines too.

It is considered that he will submit a positive report to regional office, afterward the tender for the necessary equipments of the facility would be flouted. However, it is expected that it the cargo facility would be made available in coming three months.
