AICTSL adds nine hi-tech vehicles to its City bus fleet

Indore : The Atal Indore City Transport Services Limited (AICTSL) added nine new hi-tech buses to its fleet, on Monday. In a ceremony held at Ranjeet Hanuman, the buses were rolled out for operation. City Mayor Malini Gaud, Collector P Narahari, IDA Chairman Shankar Lalwani,

IDA CEO Rakesh Singh and MLA Jitu Patwari were present on the occasion. The Mayor and other officials also enjoyed the bus ride for a short distance. Collector P Narahari said that hi-tech features of the buses would provide safety to woman passengers.

Gaud said that in near future, similar features would be provided in Inter-City buses as well. AICTSL CEO Sandeep Soni said that as per the decision taken by the AICTSL Board, soon some other kind of buses would be rolled out in the city.

CEO Soni said that these hi-tech buses would run on Route No 9 from Kanadiya to CAT.

Special features

Each hi-tech bus has plane like features—3 cameras, seat alarm, automatic gate, public information system, on board computer screen and GPS system and a mike to make emergency announcement. With the help of two cameras installed in the rear side of bus, the bus driver can see rear view on the computer screen.
