After hard fight match, Mahak in semis

Indore: Top seeds Mahak Jain defeated Priyana Kalita by 6-1, 4-6 and 7-5 in the quarterfinals hard fight match and entered into the semifinals of the Mittal Corp ITF-5 junior tennis tournament being played at Indore Tennis Club on Thursday. Theother players who reached into the semifinals are- Shivani Swaroop, Sherya Shivani and Abhinika Rangnathan. In the boys category, Udayan Bhakar, Aditya Vashistha, Adil Kalyanpur, Srivats Ratkonda maked their way in the last-4. In the girls category, Korea’s second seeds Da Ye Kim ousted by Abhinika Ranganathan by 6-2, 6-3. In the girls’ doubles, Tanisha Kashyap- Bani Singh and Abhinika Ranganathan- Shivani Swaroop Ingle reached into the final. In the boys’ doubles category, Uday Bhakar – Christian Kamins and Digvijaypratap Singh- Aditya Vashistha pairs entered into the finals.
