Act now! CET registration window shuts tomorrow

Indore : The candidates, who wish to pursue professional courses offered by Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV)’s teaching departments and have not applied as yet, should act now. The registration window for common entrance test (CET) conducted for admission in 10 teaching departments is shutting on Thursday.

Till Tuesday evening, as many as 13,897 have registered for CET-2015. As many as 34 courses, including 29 post graduate and five under graduate courses, are under CET this year.

The courses are divided into four Groups A, B, C and D. As many as 17 courses, are placed under Group A. This Group witnessed a total of 3614 registrations. Group B saw 6283 registrations while Group C and Group D witnessed 3759 and 241 registrations thus far. CET-2015 coordinator Akhilesh Singh said that they expect over 15000 registrations against 2040 seats vacant in teaching departments.

The departments participating in CET includes Institute of Management Studies, International Institute of Professional Studies, School of Commerce, School of Economics, School of Pharmacy, Electronic Multimedia Research Centre, School of Journalism and Mass Communication, School of Law, School of Life Science and School of Electronics. The CET would be held on June 4 in 7 cities – Indore, Bhopal, Delhi, Gwalior, Kota, Raipur and Allahabad.
