Indore : At least five professors from three different countries will come to the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya to participate in international conference on ‘Recent Trends in Physics’ (ICRTP)-2016 to be held on February 13 and 14.
School of Physics of the DAVV will host the conference, objective of which is to provide a platform for the interaction among the scientists, teachers, researchers and students to share their ideas, thoughts and scientific findings in various areas including condensed matter and materials physics, nuclear and particle physics and laser and plasma physics.
“Many senior professors and academicians from the country and abroad will participate in the conference,” said acting vice-chancellor Prof Ashutosh Mishra.
He said that five professors who have given their consent to participate in the conference, so far, are Manuel Vazquez of ICMM, Madrid (Spain), Franz Renz of University of Hannover (Germany), Marco Coisson of INRIM, Torino (Italy), and Cristina Gomez-Polo of University of Navarra, Pamplona (Spain).
Proceedings of the conference are planned to be published in Journal of Physics Conference Series, Institute of Physics Publishing Company, London (UK). Details of the same will be provided to the authors with accepted abstracts. All received papers will undergo peer review process, before they are accepted for publication. Papers from registered participants will be considered for publication. Only one paper from each registered participant will be considered for publication.
This is for the second time the School of Physics will be organising ICRTP. The First ICRTP was held at School of Physics in 2012.
