Indore : Aerodrome police arrested five persons of a gang when they were planning robbery in an ATM booth in Gandhi Nagar on Friday night. The police also seized a country-made pistol and other weapons from their possession.
A police team was patrolling in the area on Friday night when they received information that five accused were planning robbery at ATM booth after which the team cordoned off the area and nabbed them from a ground behind Bahubali Nagar. The accused were identified as Roshan Verma of Ekta Nagar, Ajay Malviya of Nipania Kankad, Rakesh Pawar of Khudel, Sanjay Chaukse of Tillore Khurd and Firoz of Rajkumar Nagar.
The accused told the police that they were planning robbery at the ATM booth near Mangal Pandey Dwar in Gandhi Nagar.
The police also seized a country-made pistol, a live cartridge, two iron rods and a sword from them.
