- Five hurt in mishap as vehicles collide
Dhar: Three persons including the former president of the Dhar municipal council Sitaram Sharma passed away in a road mishap. Sharma was the municipal president in the year 2004. He had been corporator from BJP for a couple of times as well. He was also a part of the union. He died in an accident when his vehicle was hit by a speeding vehicle.
The accident took place at Nimuch-Ujjain road. In the mishap, two more people were died, namely Hemant Joshi and Govind Rajpurohit. Parvindar Saluja, Raghvendra Singh, Mahendra Rajput , Mangilal Rajpurohit and Ashok Rajpurohit were injured in the mishap. All the victims were in one car, when their vehicle collided with an unidentified vehicle.

Bus turns turtle, victims were returning after celebrating Pratap Jayanti
Barwaha: A bus, on the way to Khargon, turned turtle on Thursday morning about 6 kilometers away from Barwaha. In the mishap, one died and seven others were injured. As per the received information, residents of Sulgaon village had hired a bus to attend a function on the occasion of Maharana Pratap Jayanti. Just a few kilometers away from Sulgaon, the bus lost its balance and turned turtle.
Out of 25 passengers in the bus, seven persons Chagan(17), Amar Singh (20), Tukaram Rajaram (66), Kishor Gursevak, Shubham, Dogar (52) and Bhopara (45), while Gajraj Singh Sukhlal died on the spot. The injured were sent to the Barawah hospital, whereas the deceased’s body has handed over to his family after the postmortem.
