Indore : Police have arrested three persons for forcibly encroaching upon two plots in Khajrana area. The accused have been booked under various sections of the IPC.
In the first instance, Mohanlal Sisodiya, a retired clerk of justice department, purchased a plot 20×50 from Nyaya Vibhag Karamchari Griha Nirman Sanstha, Indore in Nyay Nagar Extension.
Being a government official, Sisodiya was transferred to various places in the city and was out of the city for a long.
Taking advantage, one Rajesh Rathore of Krishnabag Colony claimed ownership of the land and sold a portion of it measuring 10×50 to Ashok Baretha of Lakshmanpuri. The sale document mentioned the plot address as Ayodhyapuri and Baretha constructed a house on the said plot. Later one Dinesh Mansare encroached upon 5×50 part of the land on the south side.
In the second instance, Azim Ahmed Qureshi, employed as assistant engineer in the telecom department, purchased a plot measuring 40×50 from Nyay Vibhag Karamchari Griha Nirman Sanstha, Indore in Nyay Nagar Extension. As Qureshi was a government employee he got frequently transferred and was out of the city. Taking advantage of the situation, one Manohar Bokare encroached upon southern part of the plot while Dinesh Mansare encroached upon the remaining part.
When Qureshi went to his plot, both Manohar and Dinesh threatened Qureshi and demanded Rs 20 lakh to vacate the plot.
The two victims then met DIG Santosh Kumar Singh during a Jan Sunvai and narrated their plights. Following the directives of Singh, a case was registered by the police and all the three accused along with another, identified as Manoj Nagar, were arrested. The accused have been booked under Sections 467, 468 and other sections of the IPC.
