2 killed in road mishaps

INDORE: A youth was killed in a road mishap in the Aerodrome area late on Saturday night. He was returning home on his motorcycle when the accident occurred.

The police said that the deceased has been identified as Mukesh Bhilala, 30 year, a resident of Krishna Vihar Colony. Mukesh was employed with a private company and was returning home from his job when he lost control and fell down from the moving bike. He was critically injured in the mishap and was taken to the hospital by the passersby where he died during treatment. The police informed his family members and started an investigation into the matter after sending the body for autopsy. In another incident, a 52-year-old woman died during treatment late on Saturday night. She was identified as Hasina bi, a resident of Khajrana and was critically injured after falling from a moving bike on November 30 last near Khudel.

Man ends life

A 40-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling in Gandhi Nagar area on Saturday late night. According to the police, Poonam Parihar, a resident of Kastur Nagar of Gandhi Nagar found hanging by one of his family members and was taken to the hospital but they were too late to save him. In the preliminary investigation it was found that Poonam had an argument with his wife which forced him to take such extreme step. The police are taking the statements of his family members to ascertain the reason of his suicide.

Girl molested

The police booked two youths for allegedly molesting and threatening a girl on Saturday. According to Badgonda Police, a 19-year-old girl lodged a complaint that accused Lakhan and Makhan molested her while she was returning home with her brother. The accused also threatened her brother when he objected their act and fled the scene.

Man found injured on road

A man was found injured on the road, possibly sustained due to falling from a height. He has been admitted to the hospital where he is undergoing treatment. So far the reason for the fall is not clear and police are investigating the matter. According to his co-workers, Rambaran Singh (36), resident of Dewas, lives in the city and is a labourer. He lives with his co-workers above the godown where he is employed. On Saturday after finishing work he had retired to his room. After dinner he came out of the room and a little later was found lying injured on the ground. The workers then rushed him to MY Hospital where he is undergoing treatment. It is not yet clear as to how Rambaran fell.
