New Delhi: Accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of turning Delhi into a ‘police state’, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday said it will go to Bihar to tell people the truth about the former’s ‘Gujarat model of governance’. “The Prime Minister has made Delhi a ‘police state’, whoever tries to oppose them is being beaten up,” AAP spokesperson Ashutosh told ANI.
“AAP has decided that Dilip Pandey and all our workers who were attacked, will go to Bihar, will move around and tell people of Bihar this is Narendra Modi’s Gujarat model of governance and this is what happens to those who oppose him,” he added. The AAP leader further revealed that senior leaders from his party will also campaign in Bihar.
“Senior AAP leaders will also go to Bihar and try to educate the people of Bihar about Narendra Modi’s Gujarat model of governance,” said Ashutosh.
The Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP will limit itself to campaigning against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Bihar polls, putting to rest speculations that the party would expand its base beyond the national capital.
