In a shocking incident, six miscreants riding two motorbikes opened fire at a shop and fled from the scene on Monday in Rajasthan's Kota.
According to news agency ANI, the incident took place in the fruits and vegetable market in Gumanpura of Kota, where six bike-borne miscreants opened fire. The shop owner was inside when the shooting occurred and was unhurt.
The police are examining the CCTV footage, ANI reported. "CCTV footage is being examined and efforts being made to arrest the accused," a Police official told ANI.
Meanwhile, in another incident, four men barged into the office of a private finance company in Rajasthan's Churu district on Monday and allegedly looted 17 kg gold at gunpoint.
Two of the four accused were later arrested from Haryana with the gold. The incident occurred near Reliance mall. The armed robbers barged into the company's office where four people, including the manager, were present. The accused held them captive at gunpoint and looted gold. According to the police, the robbers came on motorcycles and were inside the office for 12 minutes.
