Sagar (MP): A 25-year-old woman trainee sub-inspector, who got into the police force through an exam conducted by Vyapam, was today found dead in a lake here. Police suspect it to be a case of suicide. The body of trainee sub-inspector, Anamika Sikarwar (25), was found in the lake adjacent to the Police Training Academy in Sagar district headquarters, City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Gautam Solanki said. Anamika was married and a resident of Morena district. She got selected as sub-inspector in an exam conducted by Vyapam. However, the CSP said that her selection has nothing to do with Vyapam scam and she was not a suspected beneficiary. She was found missing from her room and later her body was found in the lake. It is suspected to be a case of suicide, he said. Police rushed her immediately to the district hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. The cops have sealed her room in the academy and so far no suicide note has been found. The exact cause will be known after a probe, Solanki said adding initial investigations are on in the case.
