Lucknow: On completing 100 days of its second consecutive tenure, Yogi Government has claimed increase in investment, growth in economy and employment in Uttar Pradesh.
The UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that very soon the economy of state would touch one trillion dollar mark as his government is making all efforts in this direction. Highlighting the achievements of 100 days of his second tenure CM Yogi on Monday said that the Prime Minister has set a target of taking country’s economy to 5 trillion dollar mark and UP would play a major role in it. He said that the state government has identified 10 sectors soon after assuming office this year, which would play crucial role in uplifting economy. He said that in next five these 10 sector would help in taking UP economy to one trillion dollar.
While listing the achievements of 100 days in Lucknow, UP CM said that industrial development has picked up during this period and a large number of investors are coming to the state. He said that data parks are coming up in UP which would provide large-scale employment to youths. The one district one product (ODOP) has helped UP in becoming export hub of country. In the last 100 days third ground breaking ceremony was organized in UP in which industrial projects worth Rs 80000 crores were started. The state government organized special camps to provide loans to MSMEs and employment to youths.
On this occasion, CM Yogi announced that Bundelkhand expressway has been completed and the prime minister would inaugurate it next week. He said that in the last 100 days MoU has been signed with Airport Authority of India (AAI) for developing five new airport in smaller cities of UP. He claimed that in his more than five years tenure the GDP of state and per capita income has been doubled and so was the budget of UP.
CM Yogi said that drive against anti-social elements and mafias is going on unabated. Till date properties worth Rs 844 crore belonging to mafias have been confiscated. He said that despite tensions in many other states over various issues, UP has been calm and in the last 100 days more than one lakh loudspeakers were either removed or its voice reduced from the religious places without any problem. He said that now no one offers prayers on roads in UP be it Alvida or Eid.
