Upender Singh Rawat named India's next Ambassador to Panama

New Delhi: He will be succeeding Ravi Thapar, who had joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1983, said a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs.

A 1998-batch IFS officer, Rawat is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
