Lucknow: Amongst all the stalwarts of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) other than PM Modi, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is in great demand as far as the polls in five states are concerned. Demand for a meeting of Yogi is pouring in at the state headquarter of UP BJP from candidates in Madhya Pradesh, Rajastahn, Chhattisgarh and Telangana.
Even from the north eastern state Mizram going for polls next month, the BJP candidates have been asking for a meeting of UP CM Yogi.
CM to address 65 campaign meetings in next 20 days
According to the UP BJP leaders, CM Yogi will be addressing 65 campaign meetings in the five states in the next 20 days. He would be addressing a maximum of 25 poll meetings in MP and 22 in Rajasthan. The Chattisgarh BJP state unit has requested for dozen rallies of CM Yogi. Not behind the BJP candidates in Mizoram too have demanded Yogi for campaign meetings. The UP BJP leaders said that there could be at least three meetings of Yogi in poll bound state of Mizoram. He is also expected to take out a road show in Mizoram for the BJP candidates. In Telangana the BJP candidates from Hyderabad have requested for meetings of Yogi.
It may be mentioned that during the municipal elections of Hyderabad, two years back, UP CM Yogi had addressed several meetings and took out a road show.

Impact of meeting in municipal elections
According to a senior UP BJP leader, the impact of Yogi’s meeting in the municipal elections was great and party candidates performed well in the areas where he had visited. He, however, said that the party has decided to schedule a maximum of Yogi’s meetings in Rajasthan and MP. There could be six to eight roadshows of Yogi in MP and Rajasthan, he said. In Rajasthan, there are few places that belong to the Nath sect to which CM Yogi is associated. To mould people of those areas in favour of BJP, the party would organize a series of meetings of Yogi there.
