Chennai:  Two premier cinema theatres in the city were vandalised by unidentified persons, police said today.

Unidentified persons pelted stones at Satyam Theatre and Woodlands theatre late last night, damaging property, including glass panes, police said.

The attack is suspected to the handiwork of pro-Tamil groups opposed to the release of Vijay starrer ‘Kaththi’.

Police said they are probing all angles.
