Two criminals sent to judicial custody till Nov 3

Muzaffarnagar: Arrested gangster Mukeem, who was wanted in several loot and murder cases including that of policemen, has been sent to judicial custody till November 3. He and his associate Sabir were produced in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Sunder Lal here last evening. Mukeem, who was wanted in 32 cases of loot and murder including in three murder cases of policemen, carried a reward of Rs 2 lakh on his head while Sabir carried one of Rs 50,000. The duo were arrested on Monday night in a joint operation by the STF and Shamli Police. One AK 47 rifle, two pistols and 125 cartridges and a car were recovered from thier possession. Mukeem’s gang was active in western UP, Haryana and Delhi.
