Thousands of people poured into London’s Chinatown on Wednesday after an advertisement was put out about a 'vaccine bus.' It promised free Covid jabs with no NHS number or ID needed and proclaimed that 'undocumented migrants are welcome.' Result: Thousands bombarded the area and the police was unable to control the swarming crowd. Normally, Covid jabs can only be booked via the NHS website or at a GP surgery; also, it was not clear if the vaccine being offered was one of the three approved ones. Parents are generally asked not to take up offers of the vaccine from non-official providers.
