Teen strangulated by lover in Kolkata

Kolkata: A teenage girl was allegedly strangulated to death by her lover in West Bengal’s Murshidabad district. “An 18-year-old girl was allegedly killed by her lover in a forest at Murshidabad district’s Shamshergunj on Sunday. According to the complaint lodged by the girl’s family, she was going through a strenuous relationship with the accused,” said a senior officer from Shamshergunj police station. “The body of the girl had a stole fastened around her neck. The body was recovered and sent for autopsy,” he said. The girl’s family members said she was missing since Sunday afternoon.
