Chennai: BJP today hinted that it could finalise its seat-sharing talks with allies in Tamil Nadu and its list of candidates could be released soon.

Party’s state unit president Pon Radhakrishnan said talks with allies –DMDK, PMK and MDMK– were progressing smoothly.

“We want to finalise it (seat-sharing talks) by this evening,” he told reporters here.

BJP’s list of candidates was expected to be released after that, he said.

The party is involved in talks with actor-politician Vijayakanth’s DMDK for the past one week even as it is holding discussions with other allies also.

It was learnt that the wish-lists of constituencies of DMDK and PMK are overlapping, causing delay in finalising the seat sharing.
