NEW DELHI: Congress president Sonia Gandhi, admitted to a hospital for an infection in her lower respiratory tract, was discharged on Tuesday. She has been advised rest and to continue her medication. She was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on December 18 under the care of Arup Kumar Basu, a senior consultant on respiratory medicine. According to doctors, the problem is quite common during winter.
