Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh’s cabinet minister and senior SP leader Shivpal Singh Yadav today warned of stern action against officials ignoring problems of common man.

The PWD and Irrigation Minister told a gathering here that “if anyone apprises me that a particular official has ignored his complaint or problem, stern action would be taken against him”.

Stressing that as the state government wanted that maximum benefit of the government schemes being run in the state reached the poor, needy and deprived people, no laxity would be tolerated on the part of any official in this regard.

He directed the officials to remain in their respective offices at a particular time and listen to the problems of the common people so that they do not have to run around for its redressal.
