NEW DELHI : An activist of Arvind Kejriwal-led India Against Corruption has served a Right to Information (RTI) notice on the Congress to know certain details about its vice president Rahul Gandhi.

Activist Sarabjit Roy has sought extracts from the audited account books of the Congress to know whether Rahul has been timely in depositing one per cent of his annual income with the party as required under the party constitution.
He has also referred to a newspaper report quoting Rahul claim on April 14, 2012 that he was a Brahmin to know if it were true and whether the newspaper was sent the rejoinder if it were not true.
The activist posted the notice after he was told by a Congress staffer that the party has no intention of submitting to the RTI Act and that its treasurer Motilal Vora is seized of the matter.
