RRB Recruitment 2019: Indian Railways to soon release notification for 1.3 lakh vacancies

In good news for job seekers, the Indian Railways will soon release official notification for 1.3 lakh vacancies. The interested can check the notification, once released, on RRB’s official websites, http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in, http://www.indianrailways.gov.in. According to NDTV, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has not released any notification related to recruitment either to the press or to the public.

“The alleged notification is not released by the Board. We have plans to release one indicative notice soon on the Employment News to be released on February 23. This ‘RRB NTPC notification’ which is being circulated currently on social media can be a draft prepared by the ministry,” an official told NDTV.

This recruitment for over 1.3 lakh posts is a part of RRB’s recruitment drive that is aimed to fill 2.30 lakh jobs in Indian Railways. Phase 1 of the same will be executed in February-March, 2019 itself. Phase 2 of the drive will be for the recruitment of the close to 1 lakh posts that will take place in May-June 2020 and the same will be completed by July-August 2021.
