Rape case against Gowda dismissed

Bengaluru: In a huge relief to Union Law Minister Sadananda Gowda, the family court in Bengaluru has dismissed the rape case against his son Karthik. A case had been registered against Karthik in connection with alleged rape, kidnapping and cheating of a Kannada actress. The actress is seeking the status of his legally wedded wife. The actress had claimed that she and Karthik got married at Gowda’s residence in Mangalore in June.
