Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik has been admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences here after he complained of chest pain.
Naik visited the hospital yesterday evening at around 8.30 after he experienced chest pain due to cold and congestion. The doctors at the hospital decided to admit him and keep him under observation.
Ram Naik was a member of the 13th Lok Sabha and was Minister of Oil and Natural Gas in the former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s cabinet. He assumed the post of Uttar Pradesh Governor on July 22, 2014.
