Lok Sabha Election 2019: Nomination, withdrawal dates in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh

New Delhi: Maharashtra and adjoining Madhya Pradesh will be in poll mode for almost two months, as one has the Lok Sabha poll in the first four phases from April 11 to 29, while the second has polling in four phases from April 29 to May 19.

The Lok Sabha election kick off in Maharashtra with the issue of notification on March 18 for the first phase on April 11 covering Nagpur and six other seats and another notification on March 19 for polling on April 18 for 10 other seats. Goa that will go to the poll in the third phase on April 23, the notification will be issued on March 28 with April 4 as the last dates for filing of the nomination paper and April 8 for the withdrawal.

Wardha, Ramtek, Bhandara, Gadchiroli, Chandrapur and Yavatmal-Wasim are other constituencies in the first phase where the nomination will close on March 25 and the withdrawal will be entertained till March 28. In the second phase covering Buldhana, Akola, Amravati, Hingoli, Nanded, Parbhani, Beed, Osmanabad, Latur and Solapur the poll is on Apil 18, while the last date to file the nomination is March 26 and the withdrawal will be allowed till March 29.

Kolhapur, Aurangabad, Pune, Sangli, Satara, Ratnagiri and eight other constituencies, which will go to the poll on April 23, the last date for the nomination filing is April 4 and the last date for the withdrawal of the nomination is April 8. Eight other constituencies in this third phase are: Jalgaon, Jalna, Raver, Raigade, Baramati, Madha, Ahmednagar and Hatkannangle.

All the six Mumbai seats as also Kalyan, Thane, Palghar and Bhiwandi are among 17 that will witness the poll in the fourth phase on April 29, where the filing of nomination will close on April 9 and the last date for the withdrawal is April 12. Other seats are: Nashik, Nandurbar, Dhule, Maval and Shirur.

Just on this day when the polling will be completed in Maharashtra, the electioneering will start in Madhya Pradesh with the first six constituencies of Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Sidhi, Shahdol, Mandla and Balaghat going to the poll, the last date for filing the nomination will be April 9 and the last date for the withdrawal of the nomination is April 12.

Indore, Dewas, Ujjain, Dhar, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Khargone and Khandwa will go to the poll in the last phase on May 19, nominations for which will be entertained till April 29 and the withdrawal May 5. Seven other seats of Khajuraho, Tikamgarh, Damoh, Satna, Rewa, Hoshangabad and Betul, where the polling is slated for May 6, the nomination will be accepted till April 18 and withdrawals till April 22.

Bhopal and seven others will go to polls on May 12, nominations for which are allwed till April 16 and the last date for the withdrawal of the paper is April 26. Other constituencies in this phase are Gwalior, Bhind, Murena, Guna, Sagar, Vidisha and Rajgarh.
