New Delhi : The NDA government is committed to root out corruption and will pursue the legislative measures to give more teeth to the anti-corruption machinery, Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office and for Personnel Dr Jitendra Singh said on Thursday.
“We will continue to pursue three bills — the Lokpal Bill, the Whistleblowers’ Protection and amendments to the Prevention of Corruption Act (PCA). We will not lag behind in legislative measures, parties which were demanding such measures are now opposing the government in Parliament on these very measures. The Lokpal Bill is before a select committee while PCA was listed in Rajya Sabha for seven days in the last session, we will bring it again in this session,” Singh (in pic) told the Free Press Journal.
