Nation will forever remain indebted to our soldiers : Sonia Gandhi

New Delhi : Congress Party president Sonia Gandhi on Friday paid homage to martyrs of the 1965 India-Pakistan war. “On occasion of 50th anniversary of the historic 1965 India-Pak War, I join nation in paying tributes to our armed forces and homage to all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the honor of the nation,” tweeted Gandhi. “Nation will forever remain indebted to soldiers who fought valiantly, upheld highest traditions of our armed forces & nation,” she added. President Pranab Mukherjee also paid tribute to the martyrs at the Amar Jawan Jyoti in New Delhi.
