New Delhi:  Narendra Modi, sworn-in as the 15th prime minister of India on Monday, formally assumed office at South Block today.

According to reports, PM Modi meets Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and other South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation leaders today in one of his first engagements after taking charge.

Modi and 45 ministers took oath of office on Monday at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

As many as 23 cabinet ministers, 10 ministers of state with independent charge, and 12 ministers of state had taken oath of office Monday at a grand swearing-in ceremony watched across the globe.
