NEW DELHI: BJP president Amit Shah has carried out a major reshuffle in which BJP General Secretary Jagat Prakash Nadda, no. 2 in the party from Himachal Pradesh, has been given charge of Maharashtra and Rajasthan. In another important decision, the charge of Uttar Pradesh has been handed over to Om Mathur, a trusted aide of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mathur just oversaw the state elections in Maharashtra.
