Srinagar: Family of J&K Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik has been shifted to a private hospital in Delhi following his hunger strike in Tihar jail for almost two weeks. According to media reports, his family on Saturday said they were told by the jail authorities, were they had gone to meet him, that he has begun hunger strike. “It’s been 12 days, he is on hunger strike and has been shifted to hospital in critical conditions,” they said.
According to them they have been told he has been shifted to medical facility in critical conditions where he rejected to take medicines.As soon as the news spread, all the shops in Maisuma downed their shutters as mark of protest against deteriorating health condition of Malik.
