Lok Sabha Election Results : BJP leading at 349 looks forward to form government

Counting of votes for the seven-phase Lok Sabha elections began on Thursday morning across the country. The fate of as many as 8,040 candidates will be decided today when the counting of votes polled for the 17th Lok Sabha elections is done. Around 90 crore voters were eligible to vote in this Lok Sabha polls which were held in seven phases from April 11 to May 19. As many as 13 crore of them were first-time voters.

Delhi: Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj, JP Nadda, Thawar Chand Gehlot and former MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan greet people at BJP Headquarters.

Congress’ Manish Tewari wins from Anandpur Sahib, SAD’S Sukhbir Singh Badal wins from Firozpur, Congress’ Ravneet Singh Bittu wins from Ludhiana and Congress’ Preneet Kaur wins from Patiala.

BJP candidate from Gorakhpur, Ravi Kishan, wins by 3,01,664 votes. Says, “This is a victory of the truth.”
