Badaun: Three persons were today sentenced to life imprisonment by a special court here in connection with a murder case in August 2006.
Special Judge S N Singh convicted Iqbal, Gaus and Meharban for beating to death Luttan, additional district government counsel Raees Ahmad said.
He said that after hearing both the parties, Singh held the trio guilty and also imposed a fine of Rs 3 lakh on each of them.
He said that the case of two more accused – Asgar and Akbar – has been transferred to a juvenile court.
