PATNA: As the campaign for the general elections concludes on Friday for the May 19 polling, RJD president Lalu Prasad has been at the centre of campaign from the first phase to the seventh and final phase.
PM Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah and Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar have all been aggressive on the jailed RJD leader in their speeches. Modi dubbed him as “Mahabhrast” while Nitish described his tenure as 15 years of Pati-Patni ki Sarkar responsible for all the ills in the state.
JDU spokesman Neeraj Kumar always called him as prisoner no 3351 in Birsa Munda jail. However, LJP president Ram Vilas Paswan with whom Lalu had an electoral alliance in 2009 elections held the Lalu family responsible for the backwardness of the state.
