New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal, who is tipped to be the chief minister of Delhi, on Monday turned down the ‘Z’ category security cover offered to him.

“We went to the Constitution Club where Arvind Kejriwal was attending a meeting with party MLAs and offered him the security cover, which is provided to a chief minister, but he refused it,” said a police officer.Kejriwal later left the venue in his private car.

Kejriwal, in his reply to Delhi Police, thanked them for their offer but said he doesn’t need any security or any escort or Personal Security Officer. “God is my biggest security,” he wrote in his letter. He, however, asked the police to provide some help in crowd management at his venues. Kejriwal has already said no to the red beacon culture of the VIPs in the Capital.
