NEW DELHIL: AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, who has been in Delhi’s Tihar jail since Wednesday, furnished a personal bail bond on Tuesday in a defamation case filed against him. The Metropolitan Magistrate accepted the bond in compliance with the order passed by the Delhi High Court and ordered his release. Earlier, the high court had flayed Kejriwal and questioned why he had made furnishing the bond a “prestige issue.”
