To voice their opposition to power outages, farmers from Karnataka's Vijayapura district brought a crocodile to the Hubli Electricity Supply Company Limited (HESCOM)'s sub-station on Thursday, October 19th.
The farmers encountered the large crocodile in a field in Ronihala village, and subsequently, they secured the reptile and transported it to the power station, where HESCOM personnel were stationed.
Upon arriving at the power office, the farmers reportedly inquired with HESCOM officials and asked what would they do in the event of nighttime fatalities resulting from snake, scorpion, or crocodile bites.

Subsequently, the crocodile was rescued by forest authorities and set free in the Almatti River.
Nonetheless, the problem of load shedding continues without a resolution.
