NEW DELHI: The Modi Government on Wednesday advised President Pranab Mukherjee to immediately sack Mizoram Governor Kamla Beniwal, ahead of her 5-year tenure that is ending on November 27.

Only on July 6, the 87-year old Beniwal was transferred to Mizoram from Gujarat where she had a running feud with Narendra Modi as the then chief minister.
