New Delhi/Chandigarh : Seeking early restoration of peace in Haryana, former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Saturday demanded a probe by a sitting judge of the Supreme Court to investigate the violence during the Jat quota agitation.
He also demanded resignation of the Khattar government on moral grounds along with early grant of compensation to those who suffered during the violence. “The whole matter should be got investigated through a sitting Judge of the Supreme Court so that the truth may come out and culprits be identified.
“Subordinate officers of the government cannot bring out the real truth about its failed government. Truth will remain truth. But the BJP government wants to throw the blame on others by making such artificial enquiry, he said.−PTI
