Kolkata : Arrested Saradha Group Chairman Sudipta Sen urged the court to allow him to address a media conference where he would divulge new information about the multi-crore chit fund scam.

Sen said this while he was being produced in Court on Monday in connection with the scam. He also appealed the magistrate to fix up the date and time of the media conference and also arrange video recording of the entire press conference.

Meanwhile, Kunal Ghosh, the journalist turned CEO of the Saradha Group who was also produced in the court along with Sudipta Sen expressed his concern about his life threat.

The suspended Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP alleged that he could be murdered anytime inside the jail. He said that if he was murdered then the truth would never come to the light.

He also said that the CBI officials who have been investigating the case might be transferred.

While he was complaining this to the magistrate he was seen sobbing.

Kunal said those who had taken maximum advantages from Saradha Group were now inaugurating various Durga Puja committees and he has been languishing in the jail.
