India reported 38,949 COVID-19 cases and 542 deaths in the last 24 hours. At the same time, , 40,026 recovered from the virus. As per a Health Ministry update on Friday morning, there are now 4.3 lakh active cases in the country. The cumulative tally since the pandemic began has now risen to 3,10,26,829 cases.
