New Delhi : Former Haryana chief minister B.S. Hooda on Tuesday said that he is against cow slaughter and also condemned the forces which create differences amongst religions.  “I am from Arya Samaj and I am against cow slaughter. But human is above all. We should all come together and work for the development of the country. I condemn the forces which create these kinds of differences,” Hooda told ANI.

Uttar Pradesh Minority Welfare and Urban Development Minister Azam Khan had earlier said that he would take the issue of rampant communal violence in India to the United Nations and also appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to stop those who are spreading violence and communalism across the country. The leaders of various political parties have urged PM Modi to break his silence on the Dadri lynching case. Two main accused in the case, Shivam and Vishal, were arrested on Saturday, raising the total number of accused in the case to eight.
