Recently a video went viral, which showed some Samaritans helping a pregnant women reach hospital. Due to heavy snowfall, many roads and vehicles in north India have been shut down, and people are having difficulties while doing their daily work. However, when a pregnant woman in Sheeri area stared having some health issues, the villagers came forward to take the woman to hospital despite bad weather.
The 30-second video which went viral on social media shows people carrying the pregnant women in a homemade stretcher despite having trouble walking in the snow. The video was originally shard by journalist Ishfaq Tantry on Twitter. “Amid heavy snowfall people carrying pregnant lady towards Sheeri hospital in north Kashmir. Ambulance sent to carry the patient could reach upto Audoora village only as roads are still closed,” he tweeted.

As soon as Ishfaq shared the video, people from all over the world came forward to praise the effort of the residents of Sheeri. “This is Humanity. This is Unity. Peace. Hope the mother and the baby are fine,” read one of the many comments on the video.
