Kolkata: In an attempt to escape rape, a young woman jumped off from the second floor of a building in Howrah district of West Bengal.
She survived the jump and was immediately hospitalised. The girl had been called her boyfriend and two of his friends to their place when they tried to rape her after spiking her drink.
She began screaming as they tried to corner her following which she jumped off the building and the neighbours helped her. All the three men have been arrested.
