Highest growth in year of notebandi!

NEW DELHI: Negating the perception that note ban had hit the economy hard, the government data released on Thursday revealed the highest growth rate during the Modi dispensation was recorded at 8.2 per cent in 2016-17 financial year. There is more good news: The Central Statistics Office has revised the growth figure upwards to 7.2 per cent for 2017-18 from the 6.7 per cent estimated earlier.
