A fatal accident occurred on the Agra-Aligarh highway in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras district when a speeding dumper truck lost control while attempting to avoid a roadways bus, resulting in one death and four severe injuries.
The incident took place near a bus stop in the Sadabad Police station area.
The crash, captured by a CCTV camera at a nearby petrol pump, shows the dumper colliding with multiple vehicles, including a parked Max delivery vehicle carrying milk. The collision was so powerful that it completely destroyed the smaller vehicle.
Upon receiving information about the accident, police rushed to the scene to find a Max vehicle wedged inside the dumper. Unable to extract the trapped driver through conventional means, emergency responders had to cut open the vehicle to rescue him.
The accident created chaos near the bus stand, causing panic among bystanders. According to eyewitnesses, the sand-laden dumper lost control while trying to avoid hitting a parked roadways bus.
The collision left milk spilled across the road and the Max vehicle severely damaged.
The police have taken custody of the deceased's body for post-mortem examination, while the four injured individuals were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
